Altaflo 550 PVDF Flex Tubing is made with a more flexible version of PVDF, which is ideal for applications with less aggressive chemicals, lower temperature exposures, or those requiring low extractable levels. This tubing is UV resistant, 57-62 shore D hardness, and can withstand temperatures between -20 to 212°F. Altaflo 550 is available in many standard sizes with inner diameters ranging from 1/16 to 7/8 inches and outer diameters ranging from 1/8 to 1 inch. Tube lengths start at 25ft, with longer and custom lengths available upon request. 

Altaflo 550 tubing is resistant to many commonly used industrial fluids and gases, including ozone, and does not support the growth of fungi. Industrial chemicals and solvent resistances include acids, chlorinated chemicals, brominated chemicals, alcohols, and hydrocarbons. These resistances make Altaflo 550 a preferred tubing for water disinfecting processes involving ozone, such as aquarium, spa, pool, and agricultural applications.
