Description
The Saint-Gobain PureFlo PE Junior Capsule Filter is an easy-to-use filtration unit designed for small-scale, single-use sterile assemblies. This filter offers superior flow performance by incorporating a sterilizing grade 0.2μm membrane that exhibits a lower pressure drop. This superior flow performance results in a lightweight, compact filter designed to promote optimal process efficiency. The PureFlo PE junior capsule is available with hose barb, luer lock, or tri-clamp fittings, and with the option to exclude vents near the inlet and outlet.
The PureFlo PE series features a polyethylene shell and a hydrophobic polyethylene membrane that demonstrate exceptional flow performance in venting applications. This material also allows the filter to withstand gamma irradiation and Ethylene Oxide sterilization methods.
Typical Applications
- Bioreactor vent
- Moisture barrier
- Compressed gas
- Fermentation tank vent
- Bottle or carboy vent
