The Saint-Gobain PureFlo Z Series PES Mini Capsule Filter is a gamma-irradiatable filtration unit, ideal for integration into single-use sterile assemblies in biopharma applications. The PureFlo Z Series PES capsules incorporate a final sterilizing grade 0.1 or 0.2μm membrane as well as an optional built-in ZenFlo asymmetric prefilter tailored to enhance filter performance and efficiency in a variety of biopharmaceutical processes. This filter capsule is available in three sizes with hosebarb, luer, or tri-clamp fittings and an optional vent, providing simplified scale-up throughout each stage of the drug development process.

The hydrophilic, asymmetric polyethersulfone membrane demonstrates exceptional throughput capacity and flow performance in liquid applications. The materials and design ensure quick and reliable pre- and post-use integrity testing in critical biopharmaceutical applications. These materials also allow the filter to withstand gamma irradiation and autoclave processes in multiple-use applications.
