The Rubber Fab Smart Gasket installs between the two sanitary flanges of a thermocouple clamp and assists in sterility validation in high-purity pharmaceutical systems. It is offered in 1/2 to 4-inch sizes with up to four internal ports for accepting the Smart Gasket thermocouple samples or accessories.  

A standard sanitary flange, utilizing the Smart Gasket, is used to obtain the critical thermal mapping information needed during the validation process. Smart Gasket easily installs between two sanitary standard flanges using the Rubber Fab sanitary thermocouple clamp to secure the flanges. It may be used temporarily or permanently without custom thermowells or expensive custom fittings.
