The Rubber Fab Detectomer Tri-Clamp Gasket is made with an x-ray inspectable elastomer designed for detecting elastomeric contamination during food, beverage, or pharmaceutical processing. It is available in sizes ranging from 0.5 to 12 inches and can integrate into existing stainless steel piping and hose systems.

The material of the Detectomer tri-clamp gasket allows fragments of the material to be detected by in-line x-ray inspection and metal detection systems, as well as magnetic separators, if the gasket deteriorates with age. This enables quick detection of fragments and swift rejection of contaminated products.

Gaskets with Tuf-Steel material can be x-ray detected in use with packaging and products that include glass, metal, stone, and high-density plastics, even for products packaged in foil or metalized film. Detectomer Tuf-Steel is designed for demanding steam applications, high temperature, and hot oil applications.
